00:00:07:28 Well welcome back to HoTTT TopiXXX.
00:00:11:13 I am Jim Dupree and we are ready for our second topic,
00:00:14:18 it's no secret that some people in the world
00:00:17:01 like me are super wealthy,
00:00:19:17 but there are other people in this world
00:00:21:22 who are less fortunate
00:00:23:08 that's who we call the poor
00:00:25:23 and there are an increasing number of the poor out there.
00:00:30:01 So our next topic what do we do about these people?
00:00:33:26 How do we help them out?
00:00:35:08 How do we create more equality
00:00:36:22 so that we can all be super, super rich?
00:00:40:16 That's our topic and I want to start with the Savage Bandito.
00:00:44:27 First off, I think may it's important
00:00:46:13 to set some parameters here.
00:00:48:19 When I say poor,
00:00:50:09 what does that mean to you, what do you consider
00:00:51:28 what's sort of the baseline for being poor?
00:00:56:01 Well the baseline would, like if you were super hero,
00:00:59:17 it would be where your location would be,
00:01:01:13 would you be in a cave with hi-tech catch tree,
00:01:03:12 or would you be running it out of your mother's apartment.
00:01:06:21 It's a matter of setup
00:01:09:15 and your equipment and your overhead.
00:01:13:06 Cathy, I want you to weigh in dollar figures,
00:01:17:18 where is the line between the rich and the poor?
00:01:20:24 Two million.
00:01:21:26 Two million.
00:01:22:27 So below two million a year?
00:01:25:20 No I would say net assets, that would be including real estate.
00:01:30:06 -Okay so if you have... -In today's market.
00:01:32:01 If you have less than two million you are poor,
00:01:35:18 if you are have more than two million
00:01:37:17 You are comfortable.
00:01:39:14 By this poor or super wealthy, those...
00:01:41:27 That's the only thing,
00:01:43:04 I think two million works.
00:01:46:13 Dr. Jeff you are a doctor, you bring in fair amount of money
00:01:50:14 where do you sit on this as someone who is super wealthy?
00:01:53:21 I have done research and if you don't have enough money to avoid
00:01:58:11 that annoying thing called work, then you are in trouble.
00:02:03:28 Would you consider yourself super wealthy?
00:02:06:26 I am enormously wealthy.
00:02:09:08 Now here is my question then,
00:02:10:13 why don't you give some of your money to the poor?
00:02:14:12 I have but I have so much money.
00:02:16:13 It's like... Have you ever had a flooded basement?
00:02:21:06 The water just keeps going in no matter how fast you pump it out,
00:02:25:10 so with poor people it still keeps coming in.
00:02:27:19 It's a problem, I can distribute it, equitably fast enough.
00:02:31:26 I have a suggestion perhaps.
00:02:33:17 As we know how much money is in entertainment,
00:02:36:19 may be you could like take all your money
00:02:38:11 put it in coin form, gold coins and
00:02:40:20 charge people to go swimming in it, like Scrooge Mcduck.
00:02:44:06 Or Richie Rich.
00:02:45:10 Yes. Is that not public health risk though.
00:02:49:08 Not if you go... It's widely know that most bills and coins
00:02:54:28 and money are actually very filthy,
00:02:56:22 and I think recent statistic is that 78% of all
00:03:01:02 government issued bills are covered in feces
00:03:04:07 which is just filth that's why I don't use money.
00:03:05:21 I just use my platinum visa card everywhere I go.
00:03:09:09 I want to switch gears a little bit though and
00:03:12:16 Cathy I want to ask you about something that
00:03:14:12 probably a lot of people hear about in the media
00:03:16:00 and that's what they call the poverty line.
00:03:18:13 Had you heard of this term before?
00:03:20:05 A lot of people were really upset about the poverty line
00:03:24:11 and this is for people who don't know.
00:03:25:28 This is where you are on a beach and you draw a line in the sand
00:03:29:19 and you make the poor people go over by all the dead jelly fish,
00:03:33:22 and the sea weed,
00:03:34:27 and the super wealthy people can drink the mojito.
00:03:38:01 I was at one of those beaches in the Dominican Republic.
00:03:40:21 And.
00:03:41:24 It was a wild, the poor became very very angry.
00:03:45:20 Can I just correct you though, I am not a hundred percent sure,
00:03:48:28 but I don't think it's the poor, I think they prefer to be called
00:03:53:08 at least in the Dominican it's the impoveristas.
00:03:56:26 They didn't seem to really care, they were
00:03:59:07 after they finished their bottles of booze,
00:04:01:08 they started pelting us with bottles,
00:04:02:28 they started whipping them over the line, crossing,
00:04:05:27 getting closer to the line, wanting to move the line
00:04:08:02 come into our territory.
00:04:09:12 So you don't need a poverty line, you need a poverty fence.
00:04:12:29 -You do. -Or a poverty wall.
00:04:14:12 Yeah.
00:04:15:11 With may be some poverty guns
00:04:16:28 and some poverty tasers
00:04:19:08 and some poverty bombs.
00:04:20:26 Tasers I love tasers.
00:04:22:08 Something that people don't seem to take into account,
00:04:24:19 that the impoveristas are actually quite well organized.
00:04:28:28 Having tangled with them before,
00:04:30:24 they are forced to be reckoned with
00:04:33:03 because there are a lot them there are a lot.
00:04:35:06 So may be these poverty guns,
00:04:36:28 especially if they are on turts of some kind,
00:04:38:28 that might be something that we should look into.
00:04:41:19 Back to more of a fortress mentality in a sense.
00:04:45:07 Cathy I want to ask you about the solution
00:04:47:09 because that's what we are really all about here on
00:04:49:04 HoTTT TopiXXX,
00:04:51:17 we want to help these people,
00:04:53:05 so what do we do about this?
00:04:55:25 Well I have given it some thought and
00:04:58:21 I think we need to look to the United States
00:05:01:14 for answers on this.
00:05:03:02 I am still wondering
00:05:04:18 what did they do
00:05:05:24 with their poor people in New York City,
00:05:08:06 they vanished.
00:05:09:29 They were either killed, perhaps
00:05:12:12 they chose to just leave
00:05:15:24 but I don't think they chose to leave,
00:05:16:28 I understand that they were purged on to buses
00:05:19:16 and then sent out
00:05:20:19 but I don't know things...
00:05:22:10 May be they were driven underground
00:05:23:28 to live with may be a mutant rat,
00:05:27:08 to live may be with some mutant Ninja Turtles.
00:05:30:23 Well that's a scary thought.
00:05:32:26 In New Jersey.
00:05:34:13 I want to think a little bit about
00:05:36:05 may be a different kind of solution.
00:05:37:22 Not Jersy.
00:05:38:25 YNo, no, Jersy no.?
00:05:40:21 It's quite nice.
00:05:42:01 I want to ask you about a proposed solution,
00:05:45:02 and it's sort of thinking about
00:05:47:02 what the poor or the impoveristas
00:05:49:03 have a lot of which is hunger and disease,
00:05:52:18 is there a way that we could sort of market
00:05:53:28 hunger and disease may be by selling
00:05:56:03 hunger to overweight people?
00:05:58:18 I have got a great idea,
00:05:59:27 what if we had all the fashion models,
00:06:02:26 the best fashion models,
00:06:04:17 those highest paid fashion models in the world,
00:06:06:20 what if they were very skinny
00:06:08:07 and then it would be sort of fashionable to be very skinny.
00:06:13:11 But that's the way it is now.
00:06:15:19 Problem solved.
00:06:17:13 But they would be poor and unfashionable.
00:06:19:28 And then they would be sick.
00:06:21:08 HoboSheik and they would be coughing,
00:06:23:13 maybe coughing out blood with needles in their arms.
00:06:27:00 Interesting, an interesting thought
00:06:28:28 we are going to to have to wrap it there,
00:06:30:13 but after the break we are talking about time travel,
00:06:34:08 so stick around.
