OMG!!!! Soooo over the weekend I had the pleasure of bringing Rippin It 'N' Lippin' It to the Toronto Roller Derby!! I'm gonna have to go ahead and say that this was one of my favourite shoots. I mean I knew it was going to cool, but I had no idea how serious these chicks are. They are trained like NHL players! They practice 3 times a week, and if there not playing one night, they were there working the merch table, the media section, the beer stands, announcing...it is completely self run.



So anyways it was Chicks Ahoy! Vs the Smoke City Betties and I had a ton of fun down there with these chick...and so did the rest of my male crew! These girls were taking HARD falls and theirs skirts were flipping up to reveal none other than frilly panties! But it really seems like a little secret society to me. They all have pretty regular Joe Blow jobs and then at night they transform to these hard-hitting ladies in matching uniforms and fishnets. However if you don't really know the rules to the game it can be quite confusing, but I did in depth research when I was there and found out all about it. But you'll have to watch the episode to find out. And also one of the girls wiped out right in front of our cameraman, smoked her head off the concrete floor, was down for like a solid 10 minutes and then had to be wheeled out on a stretcher!!! I was so shocked at how balls to the wall these chicks are! Lots of rolled ankles and broken wrists! So even though they are out for blood on the track, they all get together and go for beers after the game.
