Looks like a regular run of the mill ring, but it works to advertise your single status-no flirting required!! (think of all the work you save). So you use the code number in the ring to communicate with an online single community - the idea is you somehow get the number of the person who is wearing it... ok, seriously, it can't be that bad of an idea, 20000 ppl around the world have'em already, according to the ring's site firebox.com

Ok, so that doesn't float your boat? This is another weird thing for flirters...

Instead of actually saying something to the person you wanna hit on, you give them a sticker (!!) Well these stickers from Urbanseeder.com direct the person to the website, that anonymously lists the events they are attending, increasing the chances of meeting.

Ok, I like the concepts of these inventions…but there are some parts of it that are kinda weird, if you ask me. Namely the lack of direct interaction-like why not just go up and talk to the person in the first place?? I dunno. I think the ring idea is kind of better-both require you go and make a bunch of effort for people you’ve never met and if you don't have the internet, well then that's worse for you.

Has anyone heard of this? This has been around for a while now: Girlfriend X software... to keep track of all the chicks you're dating at once, a yield calculator to figure out if you're getting out what you're putting in, and a reminder calendar for all those special events (and even date suggestions for all the above!). Ok, so handheld devices have reached a new level... you no longer have to put in as much effort.

So what do you think? Old school pick up lines, flirting and dating, or all this stuff?
Does technology really reduce the effort?
Or can the girl even tell in the end?
What if both ppl are doing it? (like the single ring thing?)
