So I know what you guys are probably thinking: sex *in* the streets? What, is Serena condoning prostitution? Most definitely NOT! You and I notice it. It is everywhere. Last time, I said it was in ads, the time before--nakedness online. This time...well, street art. That's what street artists do--engage in guerilla tactics to place social commentary on the mundane and everyday. On the topic of prostitutes, here is a simple twist on the subway slogan "stand clear of the doors"

What would you yield to? Or run from? this little number depicts something you might NOT want to yield to--in quite a bit of detail if you ask me

then again...there's sexy street art that's plain in your face

or pointless and random--just a plain rambling of what *is*

imagine being dumped like this?

way to go eh? is that a sign to never date an artist? despite the stereotype there are lots of chicks who do street art, so don't assume all of these are made by males!
and finally, there is just the plain conservative! this one's telling you how sex can be a 'holy sin'...

almost makes you feel like the picture below, doesn't it?

so there you have it...dating, sex, angst towards the opposite sex, or plain pointless sex--it doesn't just happen on tv, on the radio and in mags...it's happening in your neighborhood! so go check it out. you never know. the weird artsy chick you just went on a date with could be down the street wielding a can of spraypaint and heart shaped stencils. In that case, I suggest you quickly run...
