In this world there are Christmas people, there are New Years people, there are people that think their own birthdays should be a holiday and of course nearly every girl I've ever dated was a huge fan of the hallmark holiday of Valentines Day.... but for me, I could do without all of those holidays and trade them all in for Halloween.
For me, Halloween is not just a day, it's a weekend event!
But first let's take a look back... like for nearly any kid Halloween is full of memories of dressing up as my favourite comic book or TV chracter; I distinctly remember dressing up as Super Grover and Superman in my early early childhood years. Then at about age 11 or so I really just wanted the candy so I put on my hockey equipment and went trick or treating... looking back on it, I was pretty lame.
It wasn't til high school or so that I really got into the Halloween spirit, but rather then the "ghost and goblins" scary routine that a lot of people do I always went for the funny!

From Wayne Campbell to Ace Ventura it seems that whatever I was watching, I was dressing up as... and this actually went beyond Halloween to my high school prom as well:

What can i say, I'm a big fan of Dumb & Dumber... and yes, the cropping out of my date was intentional, since she didn't really appreciate the orange tux, not a good prom nite... MOVING ON!
But there have been no better Halloween celebrations then hitting the clubs in each of the past three years as a 1980's Aerobic instructor tag team! (oh and we were doing this waaaaay before the Eric Pryde video for Call On Me.)

... and last year we bumped it up to a Triple Threat!

Y'see the great thing about these costumes is their made for the clubs. Let's face facts, I'm whiter then white, and so are both of my buddies, and we know that... but the one weekend of the year that I can get away with being the most uncoordinated schmuck in a club and take a dance floor by storm is Halloween!
Last year we aready did up the MOD Club for their bash on Saturday nite, it was quite possibly the best Halloween party I've ever attended so we'll be returning this upcoming Saturday Night, which will hopefully be complimented by a Tuesday night romp at The Dance Cave... and this year we're hoping to take it to a 4-some!
GOOD TIMES, GOOD TIMES!
Happy Halloween!
