I hope my presence was not too missed last week, but school is sometimes overwhelming. I'm back, whether that's a good thing or bad thing. I happen to think it's a great thing.

Music. Everyone loves music of some sort, and this week I'm recommending The Lovely Feathers. Whether anyone ventures to check these links out or not, I don't care, but I feel good talking about good music nonetheless. They're a slightly mellow but still up beat band, catchy, GOOD indie band.

As JOPO has already hinted at, the reality tv wagon packed up and shipped out about 2 years ago. Yet, the same scripted, melodramatic crap shows persist. The Bachelor is my main target. I caught the blubbering reject Moana (sp? and I know her name, kill me now) on tv the other night and I just couldn't believe the delusional lies that came out of her mouth. She felt crushed, she put herself out there and her love was rejected, BLAH BLAH FREAKIN BLAH. You signed up for this! You signed yourself up for a degrading reality tv show that attempts to stage and recreate real life love! How dare you whine for sympathy, you moron. I know there have been Bachelorette shows, but I'm pretty sure (this is without checking my facts) there have been more Bachelors. Because, well, female degradation is cool didn't you
know, and cool degradation sells. I'll wrap this Bad thing up before my anger flares up too much; don't watch this show, it's absolutely terrible. It's that simple.

I think Birds as pets are bad things. My grandmother has a bird who just absolutely hates me. It climbs up my leg and bites at me if I try to get it off, climbs up to my face and tries to knaw on anything shiny, ie/earings. The thing doesn't respond to its name, to noises, or to movement. What comfort can an old lady find in a bird? Get a dog! (don't get a cat)/ I suppose I should really talk about good things as well, so, Pizza Hut stuffed crust pizza. Gotta love the processed cheese ring!

One last note on Bad things: salt on the sidewalks; hurts my new suede shoes, which means, I can't even wear my new shoes yet.
