Hi my name is Sunny and I'm a sex nerd. (In my head this is the audience participation part, here's where you say, "HI SUNNY!" Or not, whatever.)
"Sex nerd" is a term I made up to describe people like me who need to know as much about sex as possible for no apparent reason. You have your "book nerds", people who know a lot about books and authors, you have your "science nerds", you have your "movie nerds", you have your "music nerds"...and while I'm a wearer of many nerd hats, I'm a sex nerd first and foremost. I've spent a good chunk of my life exploring sexuality from just about every angle and as such, I find myself here, ready and willing to answer any sex questions you nice Bite folks may have. :o)
Besides being a self-professed "sex nerd", I'm also a writer, an artist, a professional blogger, Internet junkie, and a camgirl of the naked variety.
Yep, you heard me. I run a Website called www.sunnycrittenden.com where part of the focus is interacting via webcam, often naked, with thousands of people around the world. I'm so immersed in cam culture that I'm writing a gonzo journalism inspired book on the topic and will be appearing in an upcoming documentary called Camgirls slated for next year's festival circuit.
Because of my site and how involved I am in the "adult" subcultures of the Internet, nothing shocks me. I mean, on a daily basis I receive e-mails from people with the world's most fucked up fetishes seeking advice - there is nothing this audience could ask me that would make me bat an eyelash. In fact, on slow question weeks, I may even share some of those bizarre fetish e-mails just to reassure you that no matter what sexual problem you may be having, someone out there has you beat in the freak department.
I think that talking openly, honestly and intelligently about sex is important, but so is approaching it realistically and with a healthy sense of humour. Sex is how adults play, it's supposed to be fun, not give you a complex!
