Canadian Comedy Spotlight The Frantics

One of my favourite Canadian comedy sketch groups was a group from the 80’s called The Frantics. The Frantics first came to prominence through a radio show on CBC Radio (starting as a replacement for Air Farce and then moving into their own time slot) I first became aware of them through a show that aired on CBC called Four on the Floor which sadly lasted only lasted thirteen episodes but man was it funny. How could anyone not like Mr. Canoehead?

While the troupe is not incredibly active anymore (they have reunited sporadically through the years) as a group, the individuals are still very much active in terms of the entertainment business with Rick Green and Dan Redican still being rather prominent in Canadian television comedy. So without further ado, here’s a look at The Frantics.
